Ties That Bind
This small group ministry meets regularly to reach out and encourage the body of Christ through cards, notes, small gifts and other expressions of love.
We have multiple small groups of women who meet monthly to learn, share, and encourage one another in our roles as wives, mothers, and home managers.
Single Sisters of Faith
This small group ministry is made up of widowed, divorced, and single women who enjoy meeting together regularly for fellowship, encouragement and ministry.
Wedding and Baby Showers
We have a select group of women who are available to help plan and coordinate wedding and baby showers for church members. These faithful women also serve as hostesses and provide food and devotionals.
We typically have multiple studies going on throughout the school year. Our Tuesday morning studies meet from 9:30-11:30 and Sunday evening study meets from 5:00-6:30. Child care is available for the Tuesday morning studies only.

Childcare by reservation. You must register online at the church website or call the church office or complete a registration card, available in the foyers, and place it in the offering box so we know how many books to order and how many children to expect in the nursery. You will pay for the book the first day of class.
Karla McAlister, 405.826.3113, is facilitator. This study is a survey of the Bible course and will last 12 weeks. The cost is $20.00. This Fall we will cover the Pentateuch and Kingdom Books of the Old Testament by studying Genesis- 2nd Kings. The study focuses on an overview of the history, main themes and important events in each of those books. Participants complete daily homework on each book and then participate in group discussion in class to understand the big picture of God’s plan revealed in the Old Testament. Grace Scruggs, 405.205.5416 , is facilitator of this Precepts study by Kay Arthur on the book of Judges. Precepts in an in depth study and students will study verse by verse and all chapters of Judges. This book describes the time in Israel’s history when man rejected God and did what was right in his own eyes. God used the surrounding nations to discipline His people and to bring them to repentance. He also sent ordinary men to show His forgiveness and merciful deliverance. This book is filled with guidance for Christians today as we live in a culture that does what is right in its own eyes. Cost is $17. SIGN UP ONLINE

Using the woman in Proverbs 31 as a model, trusted Christian counselor Martha Peace, offers detailed answers to the questions most often asked by Christian wives. Her proven principles and insights will encourage you to become the wife God wants you to be. This study will be the first 11 weeks of the 22 week study. The Sunday evening fall ladies Bible Study will take us on a journey through the book of Gideon. We will use Pricilla Shirer’s book and DVD study to discover how God transformed Gideon’s struggle with his own weakness into triumph and how He can do the same thing in our lives. A group of faithful women meet on Monday mornings at 9:30 to pray for the needs of our church and community.
Twice a year, the women of our church gather to share food and fellowship as we reach out to others with the Gospel message.
Retreats are open to all women as we listen to dynamic speakers, enjoy old friends and make new ones. This is a time of refreshment and renewal.
Knitters and Crochetters
Meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 1:00-3:00 at the church in room E13. Whether you are experienced or wanting to learn, we welcome your help in making baby blankets and prayer shawls. Materials and lessons are available at no cost.
Widows of Faith Ministry
FBC provides an ongoing ministry to those women who have lost their husbands. This ministry provides material, emotional, spiritual and practical help for widows who fellowship at FBC. If you are a widow who has needs that your family cannot meet or you would like to minister to widows at Faith please contact the church office at 340-1000.
